‧Required procedures for registration
In the
“Log
in”
field at the top or in the left column in ecMagic’s
homepage, find
“Free
registration”
in blue or blue-purple font and click to start membership
registration.
Enter correct information step by
step, following the instructions.
1. Select your trade identity:
Firstly, select the location of your company and your
trade
identity.
If you are mainly purchasing, select “Buyer”; if
mainly selling, select “Seller”;
if you do both,
select “both buyer and seller”... Carefully read the terms of service of this site, as they
concern your rights. When everything is done,
click
on “next”
to go on the next step.
2. Select your memberhsip:
If you select “free member”, click on “next” in
the free member field; If you select “paid member”,
click on “next” in the paid member field.
Whichever you select, follow the instruction and fill in with correct and
complete information, in order for customers to contact
with you.
3. Submit after filling out the form, then go to the
mailbox you provided to receive the message about your
premium membership and keep it save.
‧How to fill in basic information
♠If you have two or more companies to register, please register
them separately and apply for different accounts.
For instance, if you have 3 companies, register 3 times
for these 3 companies respectively and do apply for
3 different accounts.
If these 3 companies are A, B, and C, you can apply for company
A’s account as “happy566”, company B as “happy888”,
and company C as “enjoy23456”.
♠Select the account carefully. After registering successfully,
the account will a part of your company’s URL.
For example, if the account name is “koko”, the URL will be “http://koko.ecmagic.com/”
Select
the account carefully as it will be an important component of
the URL shown to everyone. If it is ungraceful,
hard to remember,
or hard to pronounce, it could impact your
company’s image or trade opportunities. Be careful.
♠The account name can be a combination of English letters and
numbers, but must start with an English letter. The beginning English letter will
automatically be recognized as lower
case by the system. For example, KOKO, KOKo, KOko, Koko, koko will be recognized as the same
account.
Also, do use hemimorphic (half-sized) characters.
For example: KOKO
、KOKo、KOko、
Koko
、koko......
look like five different accounts. But they will all recognized
as the same account “koko” by
the system. Also do not use holomorphic (full-sized) characters for account names.
♠「*」means
required fields.
If you see「*」in
the beginning of a field, it is a field you must fill in, or you
could not finish the registration.
♠ The information needed for free and paid members are the same.
The onle difference is the membership type.
The information needed for free and paid members are totally the
same except for the membership type.
Free members just have to click on “free member”
in the
membership type field, whereas paid members click on “paid
member”

This
item need to enter the company’s location.

English letters or numbers. Must start with
an English letter. Do not use number-only account names.
You can enter 3 characters or more, up to 24 characters. Must use
hemimorphic (half-sized) characters(as shown below).
Must start with an English letter. An account name with just numbers
(234534) is not valid. -hemimorphic

*Password:The
password shall not come from account name or ID number.
The
password shall be 6 to 24 characters. Hemimorphic (half-sized)
English letters or numbers. To secure your
account, the password should not be the same or partly the same with
the account or ID number, or people might
guess it.
Enter 6 to 24 half-size characters, which
could be English letters, numbers, symbols, or a combination. Case-sensitive be aware
of upper or lower cases.
For your account safety and security, the
password is suggested not to be the same as the account name or ID
number.

the password again for double confirm.
*E-Mail:This
E-mail is for contact use in this website. Non-duplicate.
Enter the e-mail you use only and easy accessible. Each account
should use an exclusive e-mail which cannot be shared.
*
Password hint:
When you forget the password.
This is a protection mechanism in case you forget the password, or
the password is stolen. Choose the hint only known by yourself as
much as possible.
*Answer
to the hint:
Related to the previous field. 10 Chinese characters
This field is used with the “password hint”.
They work only when both are correct. Therefore, select things only
known by yourself only as the answer.
*Time
zone:
Select
the correct time zone for your location. This will influence all
time information displayed in the website. If you are not sure about
the time zone, you can...
1> double-click on the lower-right corner on windows desktop,
2> select the time zone page and you’ll see your time zone.
Based on the time zone shown in the system, select the same one in
the above field!!
This is the time zone of your company location. It is important for
your customers to know your business hours.
If you do not know your time zone, there
are three ways for you to
identify it:
1> double-click on the lower-right corner on windows desktop. The
there will be a pop-up window with calendar and clock.
The clock shows the correct time based on your time zone.
2> Same as method 1, double-click on the lower-right corner on
windows desktop. The there will be a pop-up window with calendar and
clock.
Click on the “Time zone” button on the upper-left and you’ll see a
world map – this is the “time zone” page.
Above the map, there is a scroll list – do not alter it. It shows
GMT+_ or -_,
which is the standard time for your company location.
For example,
Taiwan’s time zone is
(GMT+8:00),
and (GMT+8:00) is the standard time for Taiwan area.
Select the time zone from this website, based on the time zone you
just check, then you’ve finished this step!!
Enter the characters- English letter, numbers, or symbols shown in
the picture (11 digits). If the characters are not easy to recognize,
click on - refresh picture.
The above picture contains 11 characters which could be English
letter, numbers, or symbols. Actually enter what you see from the
picture.
If the English letter, numbers, or symbols are really hard to
recognize, you can click on “refresh picture” to regenerate a new
picture.
If it is still hard to recognize, you can refresh over and over
until you see a picture you can totally recognize.
This is the last step for filling in the information. If you are
sure the information provided is absolutely correct, click on
“Submit” and then go to the e-mail box
you provided to receive the message about “Premium
Membership”. Keep
your account name and password safe. Should you feel you need to
rewrite the information,
click on the “Write again” button. Then the system will
automatically delete all information you entered and let you write
again. If you do not feel like to register the
membership at the moment, then you just have to click on the “Cancel
Registration” button.
